You may not know this but. . . I'm addicted to success stories! Ok, maybe 'addicted' isn't the best word choice, however, I am highly motivated by personal achievement stories -- always have been and always will be!

Even as a child, I identified with the 'fairy tales' of children, like Hansel & Gretel, that managed to keep their wits during hardship and prevail in the end! Too, the Hans Christian Anderson stories, including the "Little Tailor", inspired me to pay close attention to everything around me noting that anything can be useful at any given moment!

So now that I'm grown up and earning a living by my own talents, skills and 'wits' I like reading about others that have already, "been there and done that" and are doing well! And you know what I like even better? When they tell HOW they did it!

Alex Jeffreys has quite a story. Not so long ago, he was answering to a boss at a construction job that made him get up before the crack of dawn... and work hard all day.

Not exactly a 'hardship' and not what you would call an "ideal lifestyle."
