Money Da Easy Way

As of September 1, 2009 Scour no longer includes the search community in its 'profit sharing' or to be exact its ad-revenue sharing incentive program. Sadly, the owners of Scour state that due to 'overwhelming' user feedback they have decided to focus on improving the site and eliminating all forms of rewards.

This is akin to the legendary 'bait and switch' tactic of hustlers: present a great opportunity to the public, one that looks like a win/win and once you gain support and trust (I used and promoted Scour for more than a year!) discontinue/quit the portion of the opportunity that benefited the public!

Yes there is a global economic downturn and yes most, if not all, businesses are looking for ways to cut costs. However, the online advertising income has steadily INCREASED along with search engine income consistently for the past 3 years! (See article "Monetized Yet? What Are You Waiting For?") There isn't any real reason to cut the public out of the ad-revenue sharing aspect of Scour other than the usual: the owners want all of the profit for themselves while the public (users) MAKE/GENERATE all of the advertising money FOR the search engine! As recent as July 31, 2009 Scour announced how tremendous growth had been made due to the efforts of the user community! (See article "Scour Is Upgrading Its Reward System")

In response to the Scour decision to eliminate the feature that drew the majority of it's users to the site I posted this statement in their comment section:

"While improving the search capabilities via adding the Twitter & Digg (social networking, etc) components does boost the reasons for using Scour there is actually NO reason to discontinue the ad-revenue sharing aspect provided by the ‘points/rewards’ system. Ad-revenue sharing is more than an incentive for using Scour — its a mutual commitment to enhance all parties financially as the Scour search engine grows. Your decision has less to do with focusing on making Scour better than it does with keeping all the financial gains for Scour itself while leaving the community out of the $$ loop. Keep it real."

So. . . if your 'searching for dollars' by using ad-revenue sharing search engines, don't use Scour because you won't get paid!

The public is feeling the squeeze as 'searching for income' becomes the national past time for the poor and working poor -- along with the recently laid off middle and upper middle class. It's the type of climate where everyone is 'wishing on a star' and/or every other kind of 'lucky charm' in order to 'catch a break' and get out of the pool of economic despair. We are now definitely repeating the US 'classic' Depression of the 20s and 30s.

For those that study these things, some of the greatest American fortunes have been built during economic crisis: Robert Sengstacke Abbott, Colonel Sanders, Hewlitt-Packard, John Deere (see (The Panic of 1857), Richard S. Reynolds, Donald W. Douglas (Douglas Aircraft), Louis Marx (Marx Toys), Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr., etc.

Often there is no blue print other than trial and error for getting started with building a financial empire. However in this innovative hi-tech era, start up capital for home based and small businesses can be gained simply and easily via ad-revenue sharing website membership. How to capitalize on these 'ea$y income' money sites can be learned, step-by-step in the ebook, "Using Paying Social Networks as Your eBusiness..."

In the face of certain long term economic instability, creating a financial haven for one's self and others is the stuff that separates the winners from the losers, the 'bad' from the 'whipped!'

I've been reviewing my finances in relationship to my entrepreneurism over the past few days: things can certainly be and look better. In fact, I just realized that I've been working for myself in some capacity since the 1980s! "There is a difference between a LOSER and someone who hasn't won yet!"

And while I never thought of myself as a loser, I was beginning to think that I should 'quit' and focus on finding a 'good day job!'

Which, with the help of Anthony Reeves' quote reminds me:

"Quitters NEVER Win and Winners NEVER Quit!"

Since my last article regarding generating money via reading emails and ads [Why Would Anybody Pay Me To Surf The Net?], I've come to learn quite a bit about the 'paid to read email' industry! It is quite fascinating and something that an energetic, resourceful WebPreneur may want to invest in. . .

After my first entry into 'paid-2-read' the first thing I noticed was that there were countless PTR sites using the sites I was signed up for to solicit members! Some of them were offering very high sign-up bonuses [a few of which I couldn't resist] that seemed absolutely impossible to be true. I joined two such sites just to see how it would pan out come pay out time. . .

The two PTR sites that I joined had less than 2,000 'stated' members on the home page. I say 'stated' because I'm not sure just how truthful those [or any site's] stats are, yet the caveat for the high sign-up bonus was for all those that joined before the membership hit the 5,000 mark. Upon signing up, I went scrambling to alert my friends to the possibility of high earnings by clicking and reading – as long as the sites were legit of course.

What I've found over the past 2+ weeks is that those very entry level sites have grown their membership exponentially, however the most interesting find is that the quality [as in deep advertising budgets] of some of THEIR advertisers and sponsors has increased right along with the ability to deliver 5,000 plus dedicated, opt-in, potential consumers!

Me being me, I had already looked into some of the software being used by the sites: that generally can be found at the bottom of the home page listed something like, “powered by ___.” Even with that information, I was still very skeptical that any site could/would pay out the type of minimums these sites boast. Now that I see how a site can actually go from 1 to 350 members in 32 – 48 hours and grow by leaps and bounds in a very short time [mostly by advertising on other PTR sites ] it is now very evident that barring greed and chicanery, these sites can easily afford to pay the advertised payout minimums!

So, I decided to do a Winzy search for 'PTR' just to see what type of comments would come up. . . What I found actually knocked my socks off: there are software programs being sold that allow the 'clickers' or 'readers' to have all of their PTR sites downloaded to their desktop or central inbox for ease of management, tracking earnings, and many other tasks. Paid-2-Read and Paid-2-Click [PTR and PTC] is EXTREMELY big business and appears to be the next big online advertising vehicle.

Again, I must state that the genius of PTR and PTC is top notch: pay people to sit and read ads and emails about products, services and whatever else! It's cheaper than a Super Bowl commercial and via the internet has about the same audience capacity! Go click on that!

In the beginning of the article I mused that anyone looking to launch a Money 'Da' Easy Way eBusines/eCommerce venture would do well to consider PTR. As my time and energy resources are limited, I am and would positively be available as a consultant and even co-partner in such a venture. You know where to find me. . .
